Could this kid be any cuter?? Meet who we're all sure will be Libby's first boyfriend. This adorable long-lashed, smiley creature is Alejandro; he's just a few months older than Libby. Our friends Joanna and Tom are adopting him; Alejandro will be joining them just as soon as the Guatemalan courts can make that happen. In the meantime, they went down to meet him this weekend and sent back these (much-anticipated) pictures. Honestly -- wouldn't he make a great match with our darling Libby?

Libby's Future Boyfriend
Could this kid be any cuter?? Meet who we're all sure will be Libby's first boyfriend. This adorable long-lashed, smiley creature is Alejandro; he's just a few months older than Libby. Our friends Joanna and Tom are adopting him; Alejandro will be joining them just as soon as the Guatemalan courts can make that happen. In the meantime, they went down to meet him this weekend and sent back these (much-anticipated) pictures. Honestly -- wouldn't he make a great match with our darling Libby?

Um, hello? I believe Alejandro is spoken for. Sophia has her eye on him. (And I'm sure she'll have to fight Evelyn off.) The twins like younger men.
Let's face it, Kelly. Your girls aren't spring chickens anymore. Fresh-faced little Libby will steal Alejandro away from your old crones (maiden name pun intended). What are they -- almost one and a half? Over the hill!
I'm afraid it's not as simple as that. We need a dowry. What can you offer? Goats? Time share in Boca? A couple of cases of 2-buck Chuck (nothing but Syrah counts!)?

I'd like to defend myself from an (unposted) charge of heterosexism. For the record, Libby is more than welcome to have either future boyfriends or girlfriends or both. I draw the line at dating the Irish. That'll get her disowned.
