And We're Off!

Well, just when you all started to think I was faking (oh, you know who you doubters are), I am off to the hospital. Contractions have been coming regularly now, so I hope not to be posting a shame-faced new entry in a few hours about how the hospital kicked me out for not being ready....

Think happy thoughts for us. Labor shouldn't take more than, oh, 30 or so minutes, right? I'll have this kid by Henry and Lori's suppertime in California, yes?

Look for more Baby Barron news soon!

yipppeeeeeeee!!!

Oh, man... I'm so excited for you guys! I hope you DO have a quick, uneventful delivery. It happens. My girlfriend here had her son a couple of months before I had Ben and called me right after her 3-hour labor/2-push delivery to tell me that it was no worse than having a bowel movement. I wish. Anyway--I'll be thinking of you guys tonight for sure. : )

Can't wait to see that NEXT post (with copious amounts of pictures, right?)!!!

Kerri and Martin,

Wishing you a smooth delivery and know that the sooner you get that thing out, the sooner you get to eat SUSHI!

Kerri and Martin,
I wish I was at the hospital sleeping, since that would mean that I was closer to the both (soon to be three) of you! I hope you both are doing well, and baby Barron will come out nice and easy. Sorry about the melon heads that run in our family.
Love,
Kandi

Kerri and Martin,

I can't believe my little Boogers is actually having a baby. I wish I was there to be with you.
Mom and Dad are on their way...so hold on a little longer!!!

Love you!!!

Hey, for anyone who hasn't heard, I just talked to Kerri: As of 11:00 am Central Time, still no baby!! Kerri has made Baby Barron entirely too comfortable in there, and s/he just doesn't want to leave.

Thanks for the update, I've been checking all day from work!

Thanks for the update, Kelly. I keep checking the blog, thinking a picture of the baby will miraculously appear. Sigh. It's much easier being in the delivery room, knowing what's going on...well, wait...I take that back. :)

Suppertime came and went over here in CA yesterday and still no Baby Barron : ( We're thinking of you guys ... lots of love coming from the west coast. We're so excited and can't wait to hear the news.
Much love to the THREE of you,

Oh, no! Sounds like another member of the marathon delivery club is being initiated. I'll teach you the secret handshake next week.

I hope you took my advice and got a steak dinner on the way up to the hospital... because it's just not easy to push out a baby having had nothing in your stomach but lemon jell-o for more than 24 hours.

I've been wearing out the refresh button on your blog today waiting for an update. Hope things are going well and you're hanging in there!

BTW--last night I dreamed that you had a boy and you named him Corn. You said it was because he was yellow. Please don't do that. : )

Well, I just tried to post this, so if it appears twice, I'm sorry! Anyway, It's a boy, I believe!( Message from Marty was very jumbled) I am not going to even try to make out the name. Congratulations to Marty and Kerri! Yahoo! I am so happy for both of you!!! You have a lot to look forward to!!!

I screwed up. It's a girl!!! Yahoo!!! Her name is Elizabeth! Libbey will be her short name. (Don't shoot me if it is the wrong spelling) Anyway, I love the name and I am so happy!!!

Love you all and best wishes,
Marene and Family

Congrats! Jake Jill and I can't wait to meet Libbey!

Congratulations Martin, Kerri, and Libbey! I can't wait to meet her. I had one child that was screaming "COOL! COOL! COOL!", and one child that was saying "dang. dang. dang." Kennedy was so excited that she couldn't see straight. Can't wait to see the pictures. Love, Aunt Kandi
