Jumperoo, I Love You

Well, we've pulled out the ole Jumperoo (thanks again to Mary Beth's Owen and Nora for sharing all of their great baby toys!), and Libby adores it. It's a little too stimulating for her right now, so she only lasts a minute or two. But as you can see from the photos, during those minutes, she's a woman on a mission. "I will have fun, and I will have fun NOW." Look at the determination in the second picture!

P.S. Yes, I know Libby's naked here. Yes, you've all sent beautiful little outfits that I should have on her. We're in the midst of another spit-up frenzy; this combined with the drooling had me giving up on clothes yesterday after three outfit changes.

P.S. Libby ate green beans today. This is a girl who loves her solids! A sweet potatoes experiment last week possibly ended in a little tummy upset, so we bagged the veggies and stuck with cereal for the past week. She's now a pro at opening her mouth, grabbing the spoon, jamming it in, and then smearing any excess all over her head and body.

You go Libby gal. Your first topless experience. Innocence couldn't have lasted forever.
Won't be long until a training bra will be necessary.
We love you and enjoy all your pictures.

When Kerri was little she always ran around naked! It looks like Libby enjoys the same activity!

Love you!

I'm not sure if I'm more disturbed by Grandpa's training bra comment or Aunt Kimmy's public outing of me as a naked kid. Thanks, guys.

Ah... the fantabulous combination of spit-up and sweet potatoes. As if a constantly yakking babe wasn't fun enough, now add BRIGHT ORANGE COLOR to said yak. Good times.

Oh, she'll "get" the jumperoo... just wait. Do you put on any music while she's in it? For Ben, it was as if the beat DROVE him to jump. Without music, the Jumperoo didn't do anything for him, but WITH music--watch out! :)

Good advice, Alisa! Sometimes we sing when she's in there, but I never thought about putting some music on to get her moving....
