Martin and I used Libby's little baby tub for the first time this weekend (the kid was STINKY). As you can see, she just loved it. Next time, we'll submerge her and forgo the hammock. I chickened out on that this time, but I'm curious to see what she'll think of the water. (And if she likes it, is it possible to just keep her in there from, say, 1 pm to 11 pm? Is that wrong?)
Thanks again to Aunt Marene (and family) for the gift of this tub. I promise Libby won't cry every time she uses it (or I should say I hope Libby won't cry every time she uses it).
On another note, Coldplay has soothed Libby's inner beast. I popped in Lori and Henry's wedding CD for some background music while I was calming a shrieking infant and attempting to get her to take a nap (something she's increasingly unwilling to do). Her eyes rolled back in her head, and she was out in about a minute flat. Happy mommy!

It didn't soothe her. Their banality put her in a coma.
I'm glad our wedding favor has some use still : ) How cool is she that she is already into Coldplay? Oh, Libby is adorable, Kerri. So very sweet ... even when she's got the tears and probably screaming at a volume we can only imagine (remind me what I say here in about 6 weeks when my little one finally arrives, k? ha, ha).
xoxo,
Lori
Hmm. Why are you washing your kid with fruit & vegetable wash?
Staci
Is that wrong? We new parents are sometimes confused on these things, and fruit/veggie wash didn't seem that different from soap.... :-)
Libby looks like the proverbial drowned rat.
She is saying do I have to go through this every day for the rest of my life?
I think we should get her mask and snorkel.
Love you.
Grandma and Grandpa Kennedy
I don't suggest using the "sprayer" when Grandpa says, "Hey, I bet the baby would like the sprayer during her bath." You think Libby's screaming now...you should have heard Vincent when Grandpa tried to spray him. Good to see more pictures posted. The kids and I check them often. Love, Kandi
