Getting Our Skate On

We had a really enjoyable ice-skating session today. It is so amazing to see these little munchkins learning so quickly! Libby spent most of the time skating around by herself, and even Emma went on several solo jaunts. We'll have to take the camera next week, so you can all see our genius children at work.

Here are some pictures from a couple of weeks ago when cousins Kennedy and Vincent were visiting us and joined us on the ice. (I know -- can you believe how old those kids are getting? A side story: You know your 2-year-old has been hanging out with her teen cousins when she uses the word "like": Emma - "Vincent, like, slept SOO late this morning.)

I've tried twice to post pictures with this and have had technical difficulties both times. I'll try a new post ASAP because I know a few of you are anxious for new pix.

A big move

Don't get excited. We're not leaving the U.S., Chicago, Roger's Park, or even our condo. No, what's moving is this site. The service we use for the blog is going to stop hosting remote sites (like ours) at the beginning of May. So sometime in the next month or so, I need to change to a new service. Should be invisible to most of you, but if you read the blog through the RSS feed, you might need to update the url. I'll send out a post with all the relevant information when I've actually had the time to switch everything over.

Skating

The girls just finished their second ice skating lesson and we remembered to capture some video. They're getting really good.

And now a special message from Libby (if you crack the code, let me know):

Overheard

Libby, tonight while playing on a video game: "Hey, you guys. Any animal can be a pet -- even pigs."
Emma: "Oh! I love even pigs."
