Like Father, Like Daughter

Martin, Libby, and I went to a street fair up the street in Evanston this weekend. Martin put Libby in the Bjorn (which she suddenly adores), and this is all I heard the rest of the time we were there. "Oooooh, she's so cute! She looks just like her daddy."

Martin and his mini-me.

You gave me a good chuckle with your comments. I hope you had fun at the street fair. Maybe the next baby will be as adorable as you. (Not that Libby and Martin aren't adorable too.) Don't worry about being an also-ran. I've been one for almost eleven years now, but when your child needs someone most, they'll usually come to you. Just be glad that Martin is as smitten about Libby as she is about her dad.

Love,

Kandi

They are so right. Libby looks just like her Daddy. Even to the hair line. Libby will have a chance to grow hair. Martin I don't think you will.

Anyway what a wonderful gift to have our kid look like you.

One lucky man.

Such a hip urban baby, out at the street fest in her bjorn! Hey, maybe the next kid will be a Mama's girl/boy. :-)
