How We've Been Rollin'

It's moments like these that make me call Emma "Peepers." Have you ever seen such beautiful, bright eyes on a newborn? (We don't see this look often; Emma still sleeps 23.95 hours of the day -- or pretty darn close, it seems.)

Peepers again!

Libby's been practicing feeding our friend Rachel. I shall have her trained in time to feed Emma while Mommy watches her stories and eats bonbons.

On a gorgeous Sunday that seems a thousand years ago on this -5 degree day, we took the girls out for their inaugural walk in the double stroller. (Just pretend like you can see Emma hiding inside her carseat back there.)

Libby has become obsessed with Baby Doll and carries her practically everywhere. This morning she picked up my pump and tried to attach it to her own bosom. Then she attempted to feed Baby Doll with the pump. Shockingly, neither worked.

We had a great visit with Grandma and Grandpa B!

And a visit with Grandma and Grandpa K. Now what will Libby do without all of these grandparents around to applaud her every move?

Thanks for the wonderful pictures and stories! I chuckled when you spoke of Libby trying to pump for her baby. Those were the days... Libby will just have to applaud for herself. You go girls!

Love, Kandi

What a wonderful time we had with Libby and Emma. Of course Martin and Kerri also. They are wonderful little girls and it is obvious Emma is going to have to toughen up in a hurry in order to protect herself from Libby. Libby tried feeding her doll baby Cheerios for breakfast. We love you all. Grandma and Grandpa Kennedy

Seeing her eyes was well worth the wait! Those are some charming sisters!

With these recent photos, it's as though Libby has turned into a little girl overnight. I guess she has to grow up quick to help take care of her baby sister. I especially loved the "bonbons" comment, Ker. Cuz that's what we do everyday, right?! Don't give away all of our stay-at-home mom secrets! Ha, ha! Please hold while I scrape my daughter's snotty sickly boogers off my sleeve and pick off some dried up cheerios that have been glued to my trousers most of the day. Ahhhhh, the glamour! Thx for this post ... it's lovely to see your growing family. xoxo

Great pics! The mere fact that you have time to blog at this stage shows what a dream baby your little Peepers is. And adorable, too, of course!
